This is a new favorite。 It is so much about grieving the death of a loved one， having to go through their things， which is very pertinent to my life the last six months。 This was fun and funny and so beautiful at parts

I really don’t get the people who enjoyed Grady Hendrix’s other books but hated this one。 I thought it was a solid book and I really connected to the main character。 I thought the puppet stuff was genuinely creepy albeit in a silly way， especially the section in the middle narrated by Mark

This book was gripping from the beginning to end。 I love horror movies and this was my first horror book。 So I was skeptical but in the end I could not put the book down。 I really enjoyed the suspense and build up of how the dolls came to life。 It really showed the turmoil of Louise thinking this is not real and she has a mental disorder， but with her brother by her side confirming the reality of the situation she saw the truth。 Highly recommend。
